We're always interested to hear from potential new members. We don't require auditions. We start with a discussion about your experience and playing standard and address any questions you might have. We may then invite you to attend a couple of rehearsals. This gives both you and the orchestra the opportunity to decide whether to proceed.
We perform three concerts a year. These generally take place on Sunday evenings, with an afternoon rehearsal on the day.
We rehearse on Wednesday evenings during term times at St Stephen's School, Canterbury, CT2 7AD, 7.30-9.45
We charge £45 per term. There is no membership fee for students: as a community-based orchestra we are keen to welcome students with the appropriate experience.
